Mute and unmute chat notifications

Muting a chat

To mute a chat, follow these steps:

From your inbox, tap and hold a conversation. Options to Pin, Clear badge (if you have unread messages), and Mute will appear in the header.
Select the Mute Icon ().
Choose how long you wish the conversation to be muted. Once muted, you will stop receiving notifications from the selected conversation.

From your inbox, swipe a conversation to the left. Options to Clear badge, Mute and More icon will appear.
Select the Mute icon ().

From your inbox, hover your mouse over a conversation. You will see the Settings icon ( ).
Click the Settings icon ( ). Options to Mute, Pin, Archive and Clear unread badges will appear.
Select the Mute icon ().
Choose how long you wish the conversation to be muted. Once muted, you will stop receiving notifications from the selected conversation.

Unmuting a chat

From your inbox, tap and hold a muted conversation. Options to Pin, Clear badge (if you have unread messages), and Unmute will appear in the header.
Select the Unmute Icon (). The conversation will be unmuted and will start receiving push notifications.

From your inbox, swipe a conversation to the left. Options to Clear badge, Unmute and More icon will appear.
Select the Unmute icon (). The conversation will be unmuted and will start receiving push notifications.

From your inbox, hover your mouse over a conversation. You will see the Settings icon ( ).
Click the Settings icon ( ). Options to Unmute, Pin, Archive and Clear unread badges will appear.
Select the Unmute icon (). The conversation will be unmuted and will start receiving push notifications.

Additional info

By default, you will be notified when another user mentions you in a conversation that you have muted. You can toggle this setting in the notifications settings.
