Changing my Password

Unlike the PIN, your password is tied to your Celo account, and not to a device. Anyone with access to your email and password can log into your Celo account and any information stored therein.

Make sure to keep your password private and secure; if you suspect someone else has access to your password, change it by following these steps:

  1. Tap on your Profile Picture in the top left.
  2. Open Security.

  3. Select Change Password.
  4. Enter your current password to verify your identity.

    Forgotten your password?

    Press Forgot Password and enter your email address. You will be sent a link to reset your password in your email.

  5. Enter a new password, keeping in mind that this password must:
    • be at least 8 characters long
    • contain at least one uppercase character
    • contain at least one lowercase character
    • contain at least one special character (e.g. ! @ #)
  6. Re-enter your new password to ensure that you have not made any typos.

After changing your password, you will be automatically logged out of Celo; log in with your email and new password.
