Cases are conversations centered around a particular patient. Cases function similarly to groups, but with the addition of editable patient details:
- Patient ID
- first and last name
- date of birth
- gender
Cases remove potential ambiguities when discussing sensitive patient information.
- Patient details are visible to all case members in the chat.
- If you share a photo or video with a non-matching patient ID, it is automatically tagged as such in the case.
We encourage users to ensure that communications in a case remain relevant. You may wish to create a separate group, or message someone directly to discuss topics unrelated to the case.
How do I use cases in the app?
