Create a Celo account

Mobile (Android & iOS) Web
  1. Open the Celo app and tap Sign Up to begin creating your new account. 

    Don’t have the Celo app yet? Learn how to get started here.

  2. Choose the country where you practice.

  3. Enter your email address, then tap Next. A verification code will be sent to your email.

    Tip: It’s best to use your work email. If you don’t see the verification email, check your spam or junk folder.

  4. Enter the verification code and tap Confirm Email.

  5. Complete your Celo profile as prompted.

  6. Create a password that meets the following requirements:

    • At least 8 characters

    • Includes one uppercase and one lowercase letter

    • Includes at least one number

    • Includes at least one special character (e.g. $#!@&)

  7. (Optional) Add contacts and your workspace to improve your experience:

    • Add contacts from your phone when prompted. Allow Celo access to your contacts to find colleagues more easily.

      • Contacts who already use Celo will receive a connection request.

      • Others will be sent an invitation to join.

    • Add your workspace by entering your work email. If your email domain is recognized, you can select your workspace from the list.

      Don’t see your workspace? You can skip and join it later.

  8. Create a 4-digit PIN, then re-enter it to confirm.

  9. Enable fingerprint or Face ID login, if prompted (optional).

    This can also be set up later within the app settings.

  10. Once completed, you’ll be redirected to your Celo Inbox — and you’re ready to get started!

Note: Anyone with a registered fingerprint on your device will be able to access your Celo account. For more details, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

To enable this feature manually:
Go to Settings > Enable Fingerprint Login
