A verified identity is required before you can add and verify a profession to your profile. See this article on how to verify your identity.
- Tap on your Profile Picture in the top left.
- Press View your profile.

Under Personal Info, press your profession.

Press Remove Profession.

Professions will have to be verified again after being removed.
